Sea Search of Virgina was formed in 1998 by Josh and Fran Loney, utilizing exsisting resources to improve the quality of Virginia's beaches and aquatic life. We entered into our latest project in aprill of 2002 manufacturing and deploying reefballs. With our vessel the Sea Search 1 we have deployed numerious reef balls into the Chesapeake Bay. We are an authorized reefball contractor for The Reef Ball Development Group, ltd.
Sea Search of Virginia has pioneered a curing technique to make Reef Balls even more attractive for larval oyster settlement in spat tanks.
