Plans for making a flange on a Reef Ball (reef ball base)
...K.I.S.S. ? Steel plate box form to provide the shape and necessary
strength to take the upward pressure. Attach to base with brackets
that can be attached with pins (and/or clamp in place). Maybe you
can attach some brackets to the top for some of the hold down
plates. Otherwise, you would have to weld the pins to the box form
or maybe drill holes in the form and insert them like a normal base
and then weld them in place. For a releasing agent on the inside of
the steel form, maybe wax would work....
