Careful examination of this fragment shows natural attachment already begining after just one week. Acropora arabensis placed on Reef Ball with the "pop and drop" method. "Pop and drop" is an in water fragmentation with the fragment placed directly on a freshly laid Reef Ball when calm waters are expected for at least 6 weeks. Natural attachment typically occurs in 30% of more of fragments propagated in this manner.
