250354601_febdb67f0f Maldives ReefBall project 2004. I (Richard Peter Lindley) was the coordinator of the the project until the Tsunami hit... we grew coral fragments, which had been naturaly broken of the reef by the wave action . Attached to the concrete balls they survived and grew... once they were a decent size, we the moved the corals to areas of reef suffering from coral bleaching in an attempt to reseed the reefs so to speek. it works very well... google reefballs for mor info..
