Green Expo 1998
World Environment Day was celebrated on 5 June 1998. Jamaica's second environmental exposition, Green Expo 98, took place in the country's National Arena. The exposition was very successful, with approximately 15,000 persons attending and 101 organizations participating, including the private/public sector, non governmental organizations and six companies from the USA participated, namely Walden Inc., US Filter, Matrix Desalination Inc., Environmental Solutions International, Reefball Foundation, Inc. Todd Barber, Chairman of the Reef Ball Foundation broke his elbow while setting up the Reef Ball Foundation booth and had an exciting experiance in Kingston's public health system. The conference booth was attended by Todd Barber, Gary Gam and Dawn Gam.
