| B07 Island Report | Island Report: Getting the Reef Balls rolling Sand Dollar Condominium owners, hotel staff, dive staff and other local marine life lovers have joined forces with the Reef Ball Foundation, Inc., to create some artificial reefs and help regenerate coral. Twenty massive concrete balls weighing 600 pounds each have been molded with nooks and crannies to attract marine life of all kinds. The project, in tandem with Bonaire Marine Park, will be monitored for two years by local naturalists.
